Biografie
Leyla Roy is a French-Austrian actress with Czech roots.
She was born in Paris, grew up in Vienna and travelled around the world before moving to Prague in the summer of 2024.
She has been on stage since childhood, first in Austria, then in France, after studying acting, singing and dance at the renowned French acting school Ecole du Jeu in Paris. She also completed vocal training with a focus on jazz and a one-year intensive dance training programme at the Swedish Public School of Arts SKH in Stockholm.
She now has more than 12 years of experience in cinema and show business and has appeared in various formats, mainly in Austria, France, Germany and, most recently, the Czech Republic (cinema, series, short films, music videos, feature films).
In addition to acting, she has also demonstrated her skills behind the camera as a screenwriter and director for her autobiographical feature film project Narcissism.
She is currently presenting UNEXPECTED SUMMERS, starring as the french JEANNE in the czech cinemas.
